About Us

Shortly after relocating from California in 1971, Al Tutko started his new trade as a plumber. He worked for a large plumbing company until 1973, when he decided to place an ad in the paper as a “moonlight” plumber. While working out of the back of his VW bug, Al soon had more work than he could handle and decided to take the business seriously. He established Tutko Plumbing and began doing development work for track and custom homes.

After a few years, the business evolved into providing primarily service and repair work, which Al finds more rewarding and satisfying – he enjoys troubleshooting and building relationships with customers. In fact, some of Al’s best friends are his original customers.

Over the years, Al has also chosen to keep his business small. With only a couple of technicians and himself, customers know they can expect prompt and professional service. This is why most of his new business comes from referrals. No advertising needed – the quality and integrity of Tutko Plumbing’s workmanship and staff speaks for itself.

Today, Al is joined by his Senior Technician, Jeff, who comes from a plumbing family and has over 20 years of experience in all phases of plumbing.

Recently, Al’s son, AJ, joined the team and hopes to carry on the family business.
Al’s wife, Maria, manages the office and ensures business runs smoothly.
